The Public Relations subcommittee is the voice of the students’ council. We strive to maintain the positive image of council, strengthen the ties between the council and student body, and provide avenues for students to share feedback about their lives in AC. We do this by maintaining all communication portals that council utilises such as the Council Voice, the council website and the ACJClive twitter account.

We also conduct Student Dialogue Sessions and Focus Group Discussions, where we receive feedback from the student population firsthand. In addition, the PR subcommittee initiates activities and events that would make time in AC more memorable and meaningful for students. For example, Movie Under the Stars, the Valentine's Day Inter-JC Initiative, Sports Updates, and the College Planner are all PR initiated projects which we hope helped to improve the lives of all ACSians.

The Sales Subcommittee plays an important role in the Students’ Council; its main purpose is to raise money for the Student Welfare Fund, through daily sales corner and other sales initiatives.

The Sales Corner is located at Oldham Wing Level 2 and is the main avenue for the sale of ACJC merchandise. Apart from this, we also provide other services, namely the rental of lockers, and hold events such as the annual Jumbo Sale and Mass Collegiate Orders. Through our endeavours we hope to foster school pride and identity and enrich the uniquely ACJC experience with the merchandise we have to offer.

Sub-CommitteesThe CCA Sub-committee basically takes charge of three main things:

(1) AC Games

The entire sub-committee plans and executes this 2-day event, held with the purpose of healthy recreation for the JC1 cohort after the Promotional Exams with games ranging from all sports like Frisbee to Contract Bridge and even LAN games.

(2) Cheering during Sports Seasons

Remember all the amazing AC cheers during mass rally? Well, the CCA Sub-committee brings that onto the fields as we roster students and councillors down to spur our sports teams on for their games. Representing the school isn't an easy task, and so cheering will definitely make a difference to boosting morale!

(3) Uniting the various CCAs in the school

This is mainly done through the CCA Advisory Board, which the head of CCA leads.

The College Welfare Sub-committee is the heart of council. We seek to provide support to our fellow ACSians by making ACJC a conducive environment for healthy social and emotional development, constantly showing our care and concern to the welfare of the college.

We aim to improve the college in terms of facilities and welfare and to reach out to every students in the college, making ACJC a place they would look forward to come to everyday. The College Welfare subcommittee also take charge of blazer rental and provide services to the college such as morning duty and traffic duty. Other than services, we also organise initiatives that would benefit the college such as For-You-Day (e.g. Milo For Muggers, Baccalaureate service initiative and OGL package) and Students’ Task Force. Not only do we take care of the welfare of the collge, ensuring council's welfare is also part of our job.

In CW, we believe in being a passionate leader, serving the college wholeheartedly and doing our best to improve the college facilities and welfare, at the same time bringing joy to the college.
